Silicon manganese alloy (SiMn)is composed of silicon,manganese,iron,little carbon and some other elements.It is lumpy material with a silvery metallic surface. Silicon manganese alloy main raw material are manganese ore,manganese-rich slag,silica,coke,lime,ect.Si-mn alloy can be smelted by continuous operation in large, medium and small ore furnaces.
It is a cost- effective blend of manganese and silicon and is normally the product of choice for steel manufacturers. It is consumed in all steel products and used in higher quantities in 200 series stainless steel, alloy steel and manganese steel.
