What is a rare earth magnesium ferrosilicon alloy

Rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy is an alloy with calcium, magnesium and rare earth added in ferrosilicate, also known as magnesium alloy spheroidizing agent. It is a good spheroidizing agent with high mechanical strength, deoxidation and desulfurization effect. It is a light rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy used in the production of nodulating agent, vermiculating agent and inoculant. It is also used as additive and alloying agent in the production of steel and iron.

Ferrosilicon, rare earth ore and magnesium metal are the main raw materials for producing rare earth magnesium ferrosilica alloy. The production of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy is carried out in the ore furnace, which consumes a lot of power. It can also be produced in the medium frequency furnace.Two. Physical properties: rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy is silvery white solid, is ferrosilicate as raw material, and the calcium, magnesium, rare earth with the ratio of adjustment to the best range, so that its smooth reaction generation.

The casting thickness of each grade of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicon alloy shall not exceed 100mm;Rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy standard particle size is 5~25mm, 5~30mm two kinds.According to different uses, customers can specify special granularity, such as: 5~15mm, 3~25mm, 25~50mm, etc.The buyer has special requirements on the supply granularity, and can negotiate with the supplier.III.

Inspection Standards and Main Inspection Items:

1.The quality inspection and acceptance of the products shall comply with the requirements of GB/T3650-1995 “General Provisions for Ferroalloys, Packing, Storage and Transportation, Marking and Quality Certificate”.

2.Samples for chemical analysis are taken according to GB/T4010-1994 “Samples for chemical analysis of ferroalloys: taking and preparation”.

3.The preparation of samples for chemical analysis shall be carried out according to GB/T4010-1994 “The Taking and Preparation of Samples for Chemical Analysis of Ferroalloys”.

4.The chemical analysis method of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy is carried out according to GB/T 16477.1~16477.5 — 1996 “Rare earth ferrosilicate alloy and magnesium ferrosilicate alloy chemical analysis method” and GB/T 4137-2004 “Rare earth ferrosilicate alloy”. The technical requirements refer to GB/T 4138-2004 “Rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy”.The export of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy mostly requires testing the contents of silicon (Si), aluminum (Al), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), magnesium oxide (MgO), total rare earth (Re), cerium (Ce) and other elements.

If the required element content is increased and there is no testing method in the national standard, the testing method provided by the trade parties or the industrial standard can be referred to.5.GB/ T13274-1991 was used for particle size experiment.Export rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy, particle size requirements: standard particle size of 5~25mm, 5~30mm two kinds, the supply and demand of the two sides have special requirements on the particle size, can be negotiated.6.Weight appraisal shall be carried out according to SN/T0188-1993 Standard of Weighing Appreciation for Weight Appears of Import and Export Commodities.Rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy can be shipped in bulk, container, bag and other forms according to the need.

Rare earth magnesium ferrosilicon alloy is listed in the international danger code, so the packaging is usually included in the export inspection items.Bag packing is usually 25KG plastic woven bag, tonnage container bag packaging. When inspecting goods in bags of tons, special attention should be paid to the representativeness of the samples sampled.8. During the storage and transportation of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicate alloy, please pay attention to the variety, separate storage and batch management.
